Two astonishing facts revealed on The Rachel Zoe Project last night

    1.  Taylor did some bad shit that got her fired and despised.

Team Zoe, not to mention Bravo, must have incontrovertible evidence that Taylor stole from Rachel.  Tay's reputation as an employee and as a human being was destroyed in this episode, so Rachel clearly isn't afraid of any slander lawsuits.  She crawled through stacks of shoes to burn Taylor's picture in the fireplace!  That's hate.

I too feel betrayed.  Even though I couldn't stand Taylor on the show, I bought her whole "I'm really a nice person!" act in this interview and I even bought the perfume she recommended!  (fyi, it smells like crap on me.)

What do you think about the fact that Taylor didn't even contact Rachel to apologize?

    2.  Rodger loves football.

What the hell?  Does this look like a man who enjoys football?

NO.  I'm still trying to process this.  I didn't think he was gay but I never, not once, pictured him as the type to stretch out and watch football with his hand in his pants.  I'm not convinced.

Please feel free to also discuss Demi, Brad, Rachel's speech patterns, liquid eyeliner, and the fluttery feeling you get when you see all of the shoes and clothes.

Taylor has interviewed extensively about the whole Rachel Zoe thing... it seems that she quit and wasn't really fired. Also, it seems like she's under obligation to NOT discuss it. I wouldn't trust Rachel (and especially her husband) to try to save face in such a public forum... I was obsessed with the whole thing and was googling like crazy yesterday. After much consideration, Team Taylor.

Mariana, please supply documentation! I just can't believe that someone would permit a previous employer make allegations of theft if it wasn't true.

"under obligation not to discuss it" = paid off by Rachel & Rodger?

There's a big chunk of story missing. The prior season ends with Taylor happily taking charge of the Product Development part of the RZ company. Why would she give that up?

It was sleazy of Bravo not to give Taylor the chance to defend herself, or at least to say: "I've been told I cannot discuss it."

Andy Cohen: You shouldn't have signed off on this nasty bit of character defamation.

Agreed SGM. I need documentation like I need just one of RZ's studded Hermes cuffs. Just one I tell you!!!

This is the first full episode I've ever watched, but it seemed like a lawsuit waiting to happen. If Taylor was okay doing quasi-illegal things, she'll have no trouble filing suit. I'm anticipating the cover of People magazine next week with baited breath.

The episode was very carefully edited. No specifics were divulged on what Taylor allegedly did that kept the numbers from "adding up" (in Rodger's words). But it had to be stealing. What other act would have messed up the bookkeeping?

Even without explicit charges detailed, I think the implication of stealing is strong enough to support a defamation lawsuit, if Taylor wants to file one.

There are others, but these are the ones that they link to. It seems weird that if it were true she wouldn't have had charges brought against Taylor or something... it just seems fishy that she waited so long after the fact to do say something.

I'm with Mariana...Team Taylor. I've heard that Rachel has a bad rep with employees...and frankly...who knows how they edited this show to make Taylor look bad. I am pretty sure when she (and everyone else) is hired by RZ they sign a non disclosure, which is why Taylor isn't speaking.

Even though Taylor may have sticky fingers I still think she's one bad bitch. On another note they way you luurve Jeff Lewis, that's how I feel about Brad. I just wish we could meet in person, I know he'd love me.

Taylor was a troll when she worked for Rachel. Awful. It may have made for drama tv, but I would have fired that wench years ago. Rachel is a drip who is the most exhausted, irritated and generally down human being I have ever laid eyes on. I know, I know. The $10,000 dollar sweaters, the travel to Paris, the movie stars. How draining. Unlike many bizarre Bravo stars, Rachel is IMPOSSIBLE to like and Taylor was a newly found diva who did not appreciate what she had. They are both a drag. Brad is adorable and real, and he and the clothes could sit in a room alone and fare better than Zoe when she speaks.

Here's what. Not sure if Taylor did what was implied - which was to steal from them, but I absolutely see Rachel Zoe being something close to Teresa Guidice. She has no self control over the 'stuff' she feels she must posess. And the edit infers that Rodger likes to bet. Hmmm. Could they have needed a patsy?

And the previews for next week with Rachel asking Rodger ... 'what would you do if I got pregnant tomorrow'. Honey miss thing, I just don't think it is going to happen for you until you add about 30 pounds and a menstral cylce back into your life.

i wanna to talk about how totally wonky rz's eyebrows look!!! i was so distracted by them.

yes, shoes give me that fluttery feeling.

just don't think it is going to happen for you until you add about 30 pounds and a menstrual cylce back into your life.

Women always say this about thin women, but think about it for a second: How do all those starving women in famine-stricken countries manage to keep making babies? Because they do.

Has anyone ever noticed how everyone on this show pronounces Taylor as Teller?

    August 4, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterscarlett

I haven't noticed that, but I love how Jacqueline says Danielle: dih-NYELL

    August 4, 2010 | Registered CommenterSGM

DVRd this episode, haven't watched it yet. So why am I reading the comments? Hahaha, yes, I notice the Din-Yell thing too. She's a dingbat. Maybe I'll make a real comment on this ep tomorrow. Just noticed the Jacqueline thing and had to agree. That made me laugh.

    August 4, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterJulie

Or Danielle saying Jacqueline: Jack-lyyyyyyyyn (high , whiny "y"). She manages to say a name in a trashy manner. That's talent.

    August 4, 2010 | Unregistered Commentermarriedtoachimp

I could see with her attitude she would think she was "entitled" to expense report "perks". I have seen employees do this before much to my dismay that they think they won't get caught. That would be my biggest suspect - as Rodger mentions he has asked them all about expenses and other items in the weeks previously. Her sample borrows didn't seem to be issue, as they all seemed to come back.

It did not paint Taylor in good light though. And as a client I would be hard pressed to hire her seeing that show last night - until something was clarified. Bummer, I think she's really, really good at what she does. I hope she gets to clear her name.

Those WOMAN all have strange accents if you ask me....(said in my southern drawl).

Rodger looks like a caricature of Todd Oldham

    August 5, 2010 | Unregistered Commenteranon

I LOVED TAYLOR. And I'm super sad she's not on the show anymore. I love a bitch who puts everyone in their place.

    August 5, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMODG

just watched the episode, and honestly i'm not so sure i like rz at ALL. i just want her life / job / house / shoes. she seriously bugs though.

    August 5, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterkelly

Yeah, the schizz they have on Tay-Tay has gotta be pretty rock solid or I smell a lawsuit...

    August 5, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterEmElle

Short answer: Taylor says a non-disclosure contract she signed keeps her from being able to defend herself from the charges.

    August 5, 2010 | Unregistered Commenteranon

:( i loved taylor....but i don't think she would have stolen clothes-as rach loved to point out taylor was "not sample size"
anyways....yes, it's true that underweight women can get pregnant, but i don't think rach's problem is that she is too thin, i think she is too old to get pregnant. i don't care what she claims her age to be, bitch is OLD. and jowl-y.
