My favorite moment from last night
Tuesday, June 15, 2010 was when LuAnn, in her gravelly bass-baritone voice, said "I don't know where that drag queen comment came from."
!!!!!! And then it got even better when Bethenny lied and said something like, "it was just an alliteration" instead of "dude, look at yourself!" Oh GOD. I can't stop smiling.
Also enjoyable slash frustrating: Kelly's continued inability to follow a conversation. Too many examples to count. Did you like her constantly bouncing leg and parroting of her Systematic Bullying PSA? She is quite a miracle of science, this person who has a big wad of chewing gum for a brain.
I have to add this about Bethenny. When my first baby was 13 days old, I was living in pajamas, crying three times daily, and bleeding heavily from the cooter. A short trip to the grocery store exhausted me for hours. And here she is, her skinny ass in an evening gown, listening to Jill spout the bullshit and Kelly describe an alternate reality. Why? WHY WHY WHY? If it were me, I would have murdered someone in the first hour and as the police dragged me away, I would have screamed "IT WAS WORTH IT!" Anyhow, I thought she was visibly strained.
Still chuckling about LuAnn.

The best part of last night was Jill passing out apologies all over the place, like she was on auto-pilot. I wonder if this was part of the PR team strategy to claw her way back into the hearts of RHONY viewers. (BTW, not working.) And Kelly's plea for the girls to "celebrate me and who I am".. what does that mean? I can't wait til Thurs to see Ramoner go all Jackie Chan on Jill's ass! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the preview of it!

Hello - I live in Canada and cannot for some dumb reason access the video clips so I'm waiting breathlessly for the play-by-play of the episodes here in print. Also, we in Canada are really behind in the episodes (just like we are in Coronation Street episodes also but that's another story) so I'm just watching re-runs here now over and over again. When might you post the storyline of the latest episode here? It's so much fun to read!
I love, love, loved Kelly chiming in to help out Jill. One person's attempt to have another's back has NEVER been more unwanted or unhelpful. That's it Jill. Look around. This is your "faaabulus cucle a frehnds".
I had similar thought's about my roughed up baby hole. Eight days after baby #2 mugged my vagina of it's last shreds of dignity I had to cobble together child #1's birthday party. That was my limit. Bethenny is an android.
Just got thru watching part 2 myself and can't believe how totally awesome Kelly was. She clearly has an idea how totally awesome she is either.
Thank god she can be such a roll model for her girls and show them how to deal with systematic bullying because having the opportunity to deal with it is what really makes it worth doing the show. The show has been so bad for her and Andy that is not what she meant. But, thank you Jill for letting her know that it is what she meant. And she was forced to go to bully island but when LuAnn was talking about the trip she said it might not be a good idea to go but LuAnn obviously didn't understand that she was forced to go but she had no choice and she is glad she had the opportunity to show her girls how to deal with systematic bullying. And Andy she had no choice Bravo forced her even though she wasn't but systematic bullying isn't okay unless you have the opportunity to like, show people it's not okay. And why was Bethany looking at her and saying those things because there she goes again......systematic bullying.
It really was awesome to see her show everyone how life really is about the opportunity to stop systematic bullying but she didn't have a choice.
I watched the "watch what happens live" with kelly ripa last week and she made the comment that kelly wasn't really like how she appeared on the rhony "really, she's seems very intelligent". I am thinking that the superficial side of celebrity must be the lack of meaningful conversations with people. And if kelly had the opportunity to speak to people about anything she would consider important, maybe they would be able to keep up with her. If only because the odds are they have been subjected to systematic bully fests themselves.

Andy and Kelly's back & forth about whether Bravo forced her to go on the trip was priceless. I believe Andy because Kelly is bonkers. But...you know...maybe Bravo bullied her to go? Is Andy just a big bully?? (nah)
Oh, and maybe Jill just wanted to hear Bethenny's voice. That's why she kept the voice mail. Oh Kelly. It's all going to be ok, just sit there & look pretty.

marriedtoachimp, omg, yes! Remember what Kelly said about Jill keeping the hobby voicemail for 2 months? "Maybe she just wanted to hear her voice....." YES, because B's voice is like music to the ears! On the kids, I feel your pain. Hosting Xmas for my husband's fam 3 weeks after my 2nd kid--BRUTAL. I can't imagine 8 days. Can't.

Okay, blah blah blah NY and NJ - WHEN EXACTLY does DC start? I'm frantically reading through the "about" and "bios" sections searching for a date so I can set my DVR but can't find WHEN! I'm over NY and NJ but am salivating at the thought of a new group of ladies - er, women.
As I was watching last night my husband saw Kelly on TV and said, "Who is that? She is hot! Who is she married to?" I said to him, "She is the dumbest person ever born on the face of this earth. She is not hot. She is so stupid it makes my head hurt. I think she is a man." I still can't believe he thought she was hot.
His next question to me was, "Why do they have a scrump pad in the middle there?" He was obviously referring to that big pink ottoman. For that question I had no answer. None at all.

She wasn't. If Bravo were forcing people to go, Jill and Luann would have been forced too. Jill, Bethenny, and Alex stuck on a boat? Bethenny and Luann stuck on a boat? Drama win.
You know, I get the feeling Bravo more or less coerces all of them to do stuff with one another, all the time. So many situations are faked: Jill goes to Kelly's apt., Jill goes to Simon and Alex's house, Bethenny teaches Luann's maid how to cook (last season)... All these situations feel completely trumped up to me.
I thought Kelly was going to tell Andy to 'zip it' when he was saying 'you were not made to go on the trip' I read in TV guide that Kelly likes being celled Crazy Kelly, it helps her to sell her brand?? What her brand as crazy Kelly?? the girl is whacked
Grandma Wrinkles was on WWHL last night and the expressions on Andy's face as Lexie put her on his lap were priceless,
it was a perfect ending to a great night of Bravo TV!
So just had a chance to catch up on Part 1 & 2 of the reunions, and I know this will not be a popular response, but I kinda' think I'm over being angry at Jill. Look, haven't we all at some point been jealous or mean or just a complete jackass and then when it was shoved in our face felt like shit. I think she genuinely feels like shit now. She knows she was an asshole, she copped to it, said she was sorry. I'm moving on. Kelly, however, has a small chirping bird in place of where her brain should be. I feel no sympathy for her.
I had a baby 6 weeks early who only weighed 4 pounds, and at 12 days post-delivery we were still in the hospital where I was alternating between being hooked up to an industrial breast pump like a fucking cow and asking for permission to hold my own baby in the NICU. If someone had asked me to put on a farking dress and heels and listen to crazy women yell at me for 8 hours I would have told them to shove their fist up their ass. Even if it was my boyfriend Andy and he asked nicely and was paying me a gajillion dollars to do it. In the immortal words of Dannielle, "I'm just sayin'."
And if anyone is interested, we are surviving the summer here by playing the ham game.
