What does it matter if someone signs themselves as anon or Tracey? Aren't they equally anonymous?
Her work is "volunteer" and no one is telling her off, just making commentary. As I said before, she can take it at face value or get defensive, like you. (You're really not helping her btw ;) )
I always considered people who come to blogs to post negative comments about said blog or it's author(s) as pleasant as the Chinese spam I have to delete every morning.
what i've noticed is that the commenters on this blog (more than any other I read) seem to feel the need to mediate or tell others what to do and/or say.
for example, "blank is a non-topic."
unless you're the host, it's really none of your fucking business what people should or shouldn't say.
the shows are up for topic - good or bad.
I think this calls for a team meeting - or - at the very least silent meditation
Look, everybody gets that this is something SGM does as a "volunteer", but that doesn't mean people can't read and have opinions. The fact is, Author DOES have a point. People HAVE stopped reading, or do it less frequently. Its not a personal attack, its just an observation. I don't think ANYONE would "judge" SGM for how little or how much she wants to post, but its fine to make an observation. Frankly, I think it was good advice- how important is this blog? Its a shame, because shits really getting good on RHONJ!

Barb et al....The blog world is tough. It's the blogger's choice to expose themselves to the public; they are not forced to do it. If someone had a comment about my blogging, I'd want to know. I would take it for what it is: one person's viewpoint, and consider it or don't, then move on.

Wow, SGM you are taking some serious heat huh? I didn't know blogging could get so cantankerous, or was such serious bidness. I DO know that, if done right, blogging is entertaining and can sometimes create a little online-block party of sorts. But even a bad ass party eventually slows down and the hostess sits on her stoop with a Bartle & James for a minute.
