I have loved your Blog for the last two years, and normally find your witty commentary right on point.... However, these past few weeks you must have been hitting your crack pipe with more frequency than normal. That would to the only explanation for (1) finding Jeff Lewis charming and attractive and (2) finding "Real HouseWhores of ATL" not as entertaining this Season.

Jeff Lewis- What is remotely attractive about a bitchy man who needs to constantly put other people down in order to artificially support his poor self-esteem? If Brad Pitt was filled with "Jeff Lewis Bitterness" even he would become unattractive. Lewis' lips have been injected with so much collagen... Lisa Renna would be embarrassed.

Real HouseMesses of ATL- has NEVER BEEN MORE ENJOYABLE to watch. This Season has been brilliant. These ladies live fully in every moment... they epitomize why Bravo has been so successful with these Programs- namely, money and class rarely go hand in hand.

With the exception of your last few posts- I so enjoy your take on these shows and want to thank you for all the laughs!

The thing about Jeff Lewis that makes him so lovable is that even when he's being a bitchy girl, he's never fully serious about it...there is almost always that air of mischievousness with him! The man has a REALLY unique sense of humor...it's not for everyone.

The thing about Jeff is that even when he's crazy, he's not insane. He's not delusional and he justifies his paranoia due to the fact that people are fucked the hell UP. His comment to the contractors on the Buena Vista house was an example of why I would hire him to oversee a project. Jenni was completely wrong for instructing the contractor at Valley Oak to go into the drawer. My jaw dropped at her stupidity.

Anyway, I would totally watch special eps of Jeff doing guest spots on every one of the Housewives shows.

Jeff is effective but he's not creative. I can't sustain interest in him. I get a bigger kick out of, say, ShereƩ's flights of delusional grandiosity.

Thanks for the shout, SGM. You know that I am constantly searching the "quality" papers for trashy tidbits to share with you!

I almost peed my pants when he busted out with, "Did you not know that Chris is a common name?" OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! I love him like I can't even describe.

    from that Wash. Post article:

"His decorating aesthetic is strictly out of that gayish, dark-wood, flat-screen, overpriced-condo, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams sterility."

    NAILED it.

Yes, that sentence spoke to me too. I used to love his interiors but now I agree--very Mitchell Gold showroom-esque. It's just ... meh. No personality.

For me, his sense of humor is the star of the show. I am going to reserve my remarks for the recaps, but there were many LOL moments for me.

For the record (Quinn, I'm talkin' to you), I must confess that I still love RHOA. I put off watching last week's episode, but when I finally did, I was entertained. Flipping Out is my recap priority right now, but maybe I can get Frank to write a paragraph or two for RHOA.

Jeff has become boring. Really boring.

If he were turning out brilliant, legendary, history-making design, the OCD would make sense. But all that crazy, angry, repetitive energy, in the service of... mediocre HGTV-grade filler?

    August 19, 2009 | Unregistered Commenteranonymous

It is TOTALLY his sense of humor! When he said he liked that his intern hadn't eaten since yesterday because he wanted all his employees to be as thin and attractive as possible...!!!!!!!!!!! heehee! He is a RIOT and I don't think everyone gets that.

    from a comment on gawker:

I enjoyed Andy's face unironically stricken with hurt and anger, like his whole sense of self had been attacked, when that horrible gay Amanda-Lepore-lipped house-flipping creature remarked that Andy was "way gayer" than he was.
