The dinner with Tamra's mom ... HOW UGLY! Can I ever get a break this season considering I didn't want to be on it this year? I really never knew my wife felt this way about me until I watched this episode. I guess I'm not the right man for her. This did remind me of a conversation on the first day of 2009 (January 1, 2009). Tamra and I were in Las Vegas the day after New Year’s Eve. She told me she knew she could get someone better looking, with more money, and who would let her do whatever she wants, regardless. But she was going to stay together for the kids. I was shocked, and I'm shocked now watching her at dinner with her mother, when she says, "If it wasn't for the kids, I would leave him."
Ouch! That really hurt! If this is true, she should have this conversation with me in private. I'm not sure any couple should stay together because of kids. It only does more damage to them. I guess I was under the impression that she was still in love with me as I am was with her. And sadly I had to find this out is no longer true on national TV. I guess she wanted to have the drama spotlight, rather than what's best for our family and me. Have we really drifted that far apart in just a few years?
You don't need to run me over with a truck to get your message across, honey! Of course it feels like a truck just ran over my heart and soul. Wow! What a fool I've been. Never thought to watch out within my own camp. "Et tu, Brute?"
Like I always say, "If it doesn't kill you, it will make you stronger." But I think this one is going to hurt like I was being killed.
Sorry kids, I would give up my life and conquer the world for you. Just couldn't triumph over celebrity and fame. Daddy loves you very much...

I just read about this on Perez Hilton. I immediately clicked over to your blog to alert you, but you were already all over the Tamra news. It really is sad b/c I thought they made a good couple not to mention they have three children. Not including pictured son.

That bitch is going to totally move in with Gretchen.
I am so torn! It's terrible to think of their little children going through a divorce....but maybe a little (big) part of me gets a kick out of thinking of how hard Gretchen & Slade must be laughing right now.
My life is so dull compared to the "housewives" but I am so thrilled that I have a boring suburban life with a husband, two kids and a dog. These housewives are my guilty pleasure.
Wow. Just wow. 11 + years. I really don't like him so I could care less how he's doing but she's an o.k. babe in my book. A little misguided at times, but an o.k. chick non the less. I hope she's doing o.k. and can now just breathe and be herself without worrying about what Simon thinks. Maybe her son will step up to the plate now and get his shit together and not be such a strain on her. She's better off without Simon if he can't deal and be her partner in their journey. Adios-car lot- tequilla boy!

It is sad because of their kids. I haven't seen the divorce episode yet (it's due to air in 10 min) but I do recall Tamra saying that the lack of money was the cause of a lot of stress/tension between them. And she was a lot "meaner" last season - her and Vicky. So I guess I can see where Simon would say that she's different.
But if you're going through all that in your marriage, wouldn't you take a break from filming? I would. But that's just me.
Oh and I found out about it through Twitter - Gretchen "re-tweeted" it with a link to Perez "I'm a little Bitch" Hilton.
Knowing her full name is Tamra Sue gives me the sads.
I don't think any children of hers had a chance at normalcy/pole avoidance. But I am a also complete asshole.

All last Season when Tamra was trashing Gretchen with unjustified vigor.... didn't you just know it was coming from a dark space inside Tamra?! With the exception of Gretchen, the Real HouseWhores of OC are so self-absorbed... their entire Worlds revolve around the superficial. Tamra is certainly not aging graciously.

You know, I just started watching this show here and there. I can't get into it like I can with Jersey and Atlanta. Vicki though...she is so backstabbing!

Shed no tears people. Tamra will probably get her own reality show about being a divorced, 42 year old with 3 kids at $100,000 an episode and we'll watch her date loser after loser until she finally hooks up with husband no. 3 and we'll all watch the fabulous wedding on t.v. and the ensuing birth of her triplets by invitro fertilization.

Relax everyone, I have already written a lengthy letter to Patti over at Millionaire Matchmaker asking her to find Tamra Sue a new unsuspecting douchelord who's life she can surely ruin. In the meantime, Lynn can take care of Tamra's gaggle of youngins and rapey faced Ryan will be staring in an upcoming episode of To Catch a Predator. Run Simon, RUN!
Simon has usually come across as sane and in control of himself. That alone makes him a freak in the Bravo lineup. If he's able to prove infidelity (he's charging her with adultery) then Gretchen is going to cackle her fool head off.

Re Simon--I agree! He accuses Tamra of airing their dirty laundry, and then he does the EXACT same thing to her. I believe that's called two wrongs don't make a right. (And there you have 2 cliches in as many sentences. Thank you!)
