Saturday, December 5, 2009 This badass motherfucker is Jenny, the writer of one of my all-time favorite blogs, My Favorite and My Best.
On the off-chance you've been living under Alexis Bellino's 7 carat rock and have never heard of her, this is Jenny in a nutshell:
1. Wickedly funny. See here, here, and well, pretty much every post she's ever written. Even when you see the rare item that's primarily filled with photos of gorgeous interiors, you'll get to the end of the post and be treated to something like this
Bitch STILL gets the laugh in.
2. Her mouth is dirtier than Amy Winehouse's underwear after a 5 day coke bender. Creative and unique cursing, particularly in the context of interior design, is her forte. It's delightful.
3. She dismissed this hunka-hunka celebrity architect John Gidding in a "who the hell are you?" way when reviewing HGTV's Design Star
and he hired her. Did you hear me? HE HIRED HER!
4. Sweet husband and cutie-pie daughter. I will leave it at that because if I gave you the details, you might start to hate her.
5. Big boobs. OH MY GOD, I want to hate her too, but it's impossible.
Why am I telling you all of this? Because Jenny's celebrating her 40th birthday today. Happy Birthday, Jenny! Hope you have a spectacular day.

It truly is a mystery how a major production company could "think" SGM is a lesbian. I mean it is not like she is contstantly giving us observations about big boobed ladies or pimping out Franck to her readers with the ass shots.
I think she is trying to get one of us to take Franck off her hands so she can run into the arms of Gretchen and they can scissor up while listening to Jay Z 's New York song and pretend they each lost the love of their lives.
I just hope Gretchen has Slade post the pictures for all our benefit and to lessen the blow to Franck.

John Gidding's grin gives me the creeps. What does it remind me of?... A realtor? A beauty pageant host? The guy who handles "pre-planning" at the funeral home?
Jenny is the shit. Her husband is amazing for setting this whole thing up and Nicolas BB is the best cat ever for sending me a letter today announcing her birthday and their anniversary.
I like any 40-year-old that would appreciate a RPatz (yeah--I can't believe I just wrote that either) cake because I too will be turning the big 4-0 and am having a cringe-worthy crush on that boy.
Oh shit. I just realized that maybe that cake was IRONIC. Oh well.

Interesting that years ago, 40-year-old women went for, say, Sean Connery, and now they go for "lite" males like Robert Pattinson--the type in Lisa Simpson's Non-Threatening Boys Magazine.

I don't know how I had never seen Jenny's blog before (I've now seen it on too many blogs to even count in the past day) but it is f***ing awesome! I didn't know another blog existed with as much brutal honesty as your own - I'm pumped to spend a few hours someday soon going through Jenny's blog - thanks for the great find!
