We're gonna check you, Boo.

No, not like that.
I received the following email this morning:
Hi SGM!
I am a loyal follower of your blog (I often comment as "Boo") and a big fan of everything Bravo. I also have breast cancer. My girlfriends have nominated me to walk in the Survivor Parade at the Kentucky Oaks, which will be broadcast live on Bravo. It's a pretty big honor, and they will select 136 women who receive the most online votes to be in the parade. I was hoping you might consider voting for me, and maybe asking others to do so as well. Voting is here: http://www.kentuckyderby.com/oaks/survivors/jennifer-carmel-indiana and ends March 26. If I get selected I will be sure to stalk any and all Bravolebities and return with as many photos as I can snag!
Thanks so much!
Jen

Okay, we're gonna get Boo to that Survivor Parade. I just voted for her and it's easy--no money, no flowers vs. visiting dilemmas (BETHENNY), just 30 seconds of your time. If you're like me, you'll spend a lot more time over there reading everyone's stories. Wait til you see our Boo, who is such a damn badass, you won't even believe it. What better way to wish her well than to read her story and vote for her? Get on over there, honeys! Thank you.

Go Boo, go go!
I do feel bad that the other ladies with not enough votes won't be able to walk, though. I WANT TO HAVE A PARADE FOR ALL OF THEM! *squish*
I checked ya, Boo! So honored that you let us participate.
Way to go Boo! Just voted.
Voted! Now go kick some ass, Jen.
Voted. Go get it, Boo!
You got my vote Boo! XO
I voted for Boo!
I just checked BOO is number 2! Another woman, God Bless her too, has 254 votes, our Boo has 160!
SGM - how about asking Pretty on the Outside to post it to his website as well?
Woo hoo boo!
Done!
Boo, you've got this! I'm emailing this to all my own "Rats."
UPDATE ON THE VOTES:
CAROL - 262 BOO - 190
Come on people spread the word!!
You will rock that shit, Boo!
I stated crying as soon as I read her email, and then they just poured out when I read her nomination. Just voted!!!
Go get 'em, Boo!
Check it -- my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer (with lung and lymph node involvement) 2 years ago. Now? She appears to be cancer-free. We're not particularly religious or spiritual people (though this experience might have changed that!) but miracles truly do happen. Anyway, no matter how bleak it gets sometimes, and no matter how crappy the chemo, radiation, operations -- please know there are a lot of happy endings out there...even when the situation at first seems incredibly crummy.
I voted!
Boo is doing fabulously in the vote department. Just scrolled through all the list of survivors and it made me sad to think that some of these remarkable people will not walk in the Parade. Why can't they just let all of the nominees walk?
Done!
Same experience as Martha. My father broke every single statistic out there.
Boo, done and donesy. I will tweet about this today, too. XO
