But will she still be a Countess?

Page Six is reporting that LuAnn de Lesseps is separating from her husband, the Count.

Finally, LuAnn can admit he's an old fogey (and also shitworm--he dumped her via email. COLD.)

Last thing on her list of things to do while she is out of a job is spend time with the kids!

I dont like to hear of anyone divorcing, but wow...I know this his hard for her because this is not "countess like"

LOL at LuAnn now being "Countless". I can't help but find their arrangement strange. Who would possibly be okay with their husband and father of their children living on a different continent? The hardest loss for her is probably the title, though. It sounds like she took this pretty well, all things considered. Maybe there is some truth to the rumors of her canoodling with different men all over Manhattan.

I must say that I do feel sorry for Victoria and Noel. They seem like sweet kids.

    Let's call a spade a spade...

While this may have started out as a real marriage it had clearly deteriorated into a marriage of convenience for appearances sake.

LuAnn knew full well what was going on. She's going to play this for all it's worth financially and socially. I can just hear the other women now, "Look how brave she is. She's handling this with such dignity!"

Hell, she's got to be relieved to be rid of the old codger so she can finally have her dalliances out in the open.

The only thing she's is worried about is loosing her title.

As pompous as LuAnn can be, this is a sad situation. There is no pain like the pain from infidelity.

sad for her son and daughter.

2nd relationship ended by the program.

when i saw that ep where she chewed him out on the phone, i wondered how he could possibly be ok with this.

So, were the previous 4 wives of "The Count" able to keep their title of "Countess" as well?

    March 31, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterAnonymous

I saw this in school today! (My teacher, for some reason, had the NYP on his desk. I think it's for sports or something.)

She's on the cover, in her own little corner box. I was actually very excited to see it. It was only a matter of time.

Wonder....does Miss LuAnn make her own money? I think not. Excountess better get herself a large settlement!

It is sad though, especially for the kids. And doesn't the Count look a tad like Bernie Madoff? For some reason I see that...

And something else...in history I just so happen to be on the Panama Canal, and there is mention of the DeLesseps company. Thought that was funny.

how do you separate when you live 4,000 miles apart?

Don't most couples split up after they've been on a reality show? The track record is pretty bad. I think beginning with the american family or whatever that was called in the '70s.

Donn and Vicki are next, I predict.

I have to wonder if LuAnn had dedicated her book to the Count. This is poetic justice for constantly flaunting her Countness.

So what are the odds that she was the reason for the split from wife #4?

    March 31, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterAnonymous

Cheater, cheater, pumpkin-eater. There is not enough money in the entire universe to make me sleep with that cheesemunch.

I would rather sleep with Count von Count from the Muppets. Or better yet, Count Chocula...he has NEVER done me wrong. Never.

Maybe I'm a sucker, but I feel sorry for the Countess.

On the other hand, this might boost sales for her book, due out in April!

...I wonder if Bethenny will be giving her dating advice now?
