In the wake of the cable network's abrupt announcement Thursday that it was delaying the Feb. 15 premiere of the reality series' fourth season until March or April, a source close to the program tells us producers are "a little worried" about early reaction to the show.
The actual housewives were as surprised by the move as their fans. They learned about the change only hours before Bravo's decision, via an internal memo sent to them by Bravo executive vice president Andy Cohen.
The message, marked "URGENT," informed Ramona Singer, Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon and the rest that "RHONYC" would be delayed until spring to give Bravo "more time to make the show as GREAT and as big a hit as possible."
Cohen apologized "for the inconvenience," then dropped another bombshell: The newest entry in the franchise, "The Real Housewives of Miami," which he said "has been ready to go for a while," would debut in the "RHONY" slot on Feb. 22.
After requesting that the email's recipients refrain from tweeting any of it, he signed off, "XX Andy."

I love how the article includes that Andy signs business emails "XX." DAMMIT! I just can't stay mad at that man.

I hear that Miami was originally a different production, and Bravo bought the show. I wonder if the style will be any different.
STOP FUCKING WITH MY MIND BRAVO!!!!!!!!! This is all too much.I need stability in my reality TV world. I was in a NY state of mind and now I need to regroup. "The Birdcage" and "Basketball Wives" will be on the list this week.
P.s. This does look like a new production style. Kinda rouge and lotsa hand held cam stuff. We shall see!!!!! (singing)
Jill must be shaking in her money tree. Bethenny was in People Magazine and today she was on Ellen. Poor Jill. Bravo took away her show...
The only thing good about this is JILL! You know she is pissed the eff off. She was all geared up to be center of attention and now bethany will be on tv and she wont. bwa hahaha

You can hear a pin drop on Jill's twitter feed. Total uncharacteristic silence. I would not want to be Andy Cohen (or Bobby, ESPECIALLY Bobby) right now.

It would be poetic justice to Jill Zarin if they canned NY entirely and never to be seen or heard from again. That's what would happen in a perfect world.

I did that and Andy XX Cohen denied it on twitter. I wonder of Camille started this rumor herself? She needs a little redemption.
I wouldn't put it past her, and I'm sure everyone would deny it at this stage. I have no desire to see Camille ever again.

They are probably still editing or more likely, re-editing. I think Beverly Hills raised the bar and they needed to make NY as exciting or interesting or something like that.

You can see the family resemblence clearly. I believe there are at least three or four sides to every housewives story.... but obviously the homeless foster child gutter living momma story was a lie.
Why did BRAVO cut this clip? Adrienne Maloof giving Taylor( FORD LOL) the stink eye and calling her out on not being the god mother.

(chuckle) That was pretty good. So Taylor asked a woman who she's hardly close with (A VERY RICH-ASS AND CONNECTED WOMAN) to be her kids Godmother? Me thinks Missy Oklahoma pants has issues.
"RHO Miami" is just reheated "Miami Social" outtakes, I hear. Not originally filmed to be a "Real Housewives" show.
