Dude, I had a 10 minute conversation with the cable guy about how my life will never be the same. I'm just so excited that I won't be snapping at my kids trying to get them into bed before Real Housewives starts tonight. WOOOO!
hahahaha, I know how you feel. I just got mine last month and it's such a relief to be able to read my punk bed time stories once again and not flip out that it's 8 and she needs to get in her room and shut the hell up...

All I can say is that you can watch American Idol in 20 minutes. Or two on elimination night.
You can watch Top Chef in 15 minutes! Please start posting on this show, by the way. My whole freaking office watches American Idol and I have nobody to vent with about Bravo reality shows!

I've had Tivo for so many years now it's hard to remember what TV watching was like in the old days. I could not function without it. Or my IPod, Blackberry, GPS, XM radio. Just 5 years ago I had none of these things and my life was fine. Now I'm addicted. SCARY.
I was just rereading the comments again and the one about Top Chef, Bravo, etc. I 2nd that!

Top Chef, huh? I don't watch it BU THAT WAS BEFORE I HAD A DVR! Now, anything is possible! I'll check it out. Is it mid-season or what?
